Let’s say your customer is considering an LED Lamp warehouse retrofit with standard 400W Metal Halide lamps installed. According to the chart below for a 400W MH, NEMA recommends a minimum 21,500 LED lumen output. Current’s LED HID 400W equivalent delivers 23,500 lumens, well above the 21,500 recommended minimum. When comparing LED HID retrofit options, make sure you are comparing actual lumen output – not just the manufacturer’s claim their product is “400W MH” equivalent. Some competitors offer 10,000 – 15,000 lumen products as a 400W MH replacement, when by NEMA standards, should be a 175W – 250W replacement instead.<\/div>\n<\/div>
